SUMMARY

The Prize recognizes outstanding contributions to the scientific and clinical development of aromatherapy as a complementary healthcare intervention. It aims to highlight initiatives that successfully bridge clinical practice, research, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration in order to improve patient care and wellbeing.

The Prize particularly values projects that demonstrate:

• integration of aromatherapy within healthcare systems,

• collaboration between healthcare professionals and researchers,

• evidence-informed clinical practice,

• innovation in patient-centred care,

• and the generation of knowledge that contributes to the advancement of the recognition of clinical aromatherapy.

 This award is intended to acknowledge the achievement of a clinically-based team which develops evidence-based aromatherapy to provide direct health or wellbeing benefits to patients.
